Hair Stylist
I am well trained hair dresser and believe that I can always continue to grow my craft. I create styles that are tailored for each client. I base this tailoring on face shape to accent best features while considering lifestyle and personality style.
Most stylists follow one hair cut trend or cutting by numbers. Your hair's natural texture is a key, it can be shaped with its natural fabric so it is effortless to style each morning. Color trends come and go, whether you are a warm or cool blonde, red or brunette color, color should harmonize with your skin tone and balance with textures in your face.
The most important part of an appointment is the consultation. This is the plan we make together to eliminate any mis-communication so you can look your best.I stay passionate, well trained and keep myself current by attending Bumble and Bumble University in New York twice a year, where I learn new techniques and stay inspired. I have had many editorial accomplishments such as working at NYC Fashion Week with the top fashion designers in the world BCBGMAXAZRIA, Lacoste and Vera Wang to name a few. My work can be seen in almost all forms of media from film, video, commercials, fashion, hair dressing for talents such as Julia Stiles and Debbie Harry. I love working behind the chair. I am thankful and lucky to have the best client relationships and have the most fun.

I love Posh Salon! Josie made me look fabulous. My consultation was great. She actually listened to what I wanted and gave me feedback about which hairstyles would suit my face shape. This is extremely important. She will not let you walk out with an unflattering cut. I've been to stylists that have not helped me in this way and I was unhappy with my cut. I also want to add that Josie does the hair tinsel that I have only seen in Vegas and Josie also cuts African American hair, which I know in Reno can be hard to find someone. Reno, NVI've followed Josie for 5 years and she just gets better and better! My hair always looks fantastic after she cuts it and it holds its style as it grows out, which is a definite sign of a great cut. As for the salon itself, the front desk gals are very friendly, the space is open and friendly, and the products of choice are Bumble and Bumble. They also have a spa so if you're looking for massages and facials, I bet this salon would be just as great for those services. If you're looking for a new stylist, see Josie at Posh!!!!Pamela G.
